Bridge blocks out the moon
Black cats crawl
past a million dollar tune
I plucked another pocket.
I was, Tension Sweet
Walkin on eggshells
down a bubble wrap street.
An'while we were haulin
on the prison gates
They had stop all the roaches,
at the starting plate.

It was a premonition phone call
I could see in a dream
Those cats were movin on,
under their own steam.
Left out for dead,
or hung out to die.
Whichever you choose,
your throat will be dry.
No sense in complainin
just a-stand up straight,
an' you can off-'em at the path
to the starting gate.
